The Saugus Public Library is now accepting donations of packaged food for distribution to a local food pantry. We have a drop bin in the main lobby facing the Circulation Desk.
This is not a Food for Fines, program…at least not until later in the year. We are simply providing our citizens with a year-round place to donate food for those in need of a little extra help.
There is always a need for cereal, pasta, rice, tuna, baked beans, peanut butter & jelly, canned vegetables or canned meat.
Please check the expiration dates as the library can not accept expired items.
Thank you for your support; it means SO much!
