Use our electronic resources…and keep our books at your homes!

The Saugus Public Library is closed to the public indefinitely. Members of our staff have been keeping busy on a variety of ongoing tasks including weeding our collections, clearing/organizing storage spaces, and other administrative task. There is no shortage of work to be done here.

While we remain closed, we urge our patrons to avail themselves of the online resources available to them (and paid for by tax dollars or underwritten by various organizations/individuals via donations) like OverDrive and Hoopla. See our web site for a complete list of resources (many of them available to you at home on your PC, phone, tablet, or smart TV) you can use from your home.

Additionally, we ask that patrons no longer return items on loan to the library’s drop boxes. Please keep them at home with you until current restrictions are lifted. And PLEASE, do not place book donations into our drop boxes. Everything that comes to our facility must be disinfected. Any donated books or other media will be thrown away.

Thank you for your consideration and for the sacrifices you are all currently making to help fight the spread of COVID-19.

All of us at the Saugus Public Library appreciate all you do and eagerly look forward to a time when we can welcome our patrons back into their Library.

Be safe and be well.
