Community Room

Saugus Public Library

295 Central Street

Wednesday, August 28th, 6:00-7:30 pm

This year is the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Rebellion, which started the modern LGBTQ Rights Movement. Our seniors have witnessed an incredible amount of change since 1969 and this will be a great opportunity to discuss those changes and more.

This program is sponsored through a collaboration between the Saugus Public Library and SpeakOUT Boston.

SpeakOUT is the nation’s first lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and asexual speakers bureau. SpeakOUT members speak from their hearts and own experiences. And they speak to let other members of the LGBTQ community know they are not alone.

This event is free-of-charge and open to the public.
