Are you a college-bound high school senior? Odds are you’re not, but you might know one! In either case, you’ll want to know about a new high school video scholarship contest from the Center for Inquiry’s #ScienceSaves campaign! First Prize is $10,000!

All of our lives have been improved in so many ways by the discoveries of science and technology, and it’s more important than ever for the next generation of scientists, scholars, and leaders to take inspiration from our incredible progress.

Contest entry is simple: Create a 20 to 30-second video answering the question “What has science done for me?” or the question “What has science done for somebody I know?”

Students will be judged on their ability to highlight how science saves in a succinct, creative way with original photos, video clips, and text. We bet the hardest part will be choosing only one of the countless examples of science’s positive impacts on a person’s life!
