Join us in the Community Room at 6:30 pm on Tuesday evening, September 15th, and spend some time with Lawrence Eagle Tribune columnist and author Scott Kerman. Scott’s recent book, The Duke: Weekly Conversations with the Last Honest Politician, is based on a series of candid, personal, and often humorous conversations with former Massachusetts Governor and 1988 Democratic Presidential nominee Michael Dukakis, offering readers a unique, behind-the-scenes look that feels like sitting at the kitchen table with the Governor himself.

Scott is also the host of the long-running Boston sports talk show, The Grandstanders Live! and spent over 20 years as a stand-up comedian, with appearances on HBO’s Live from the Aspen Comedy Festival, Comedy Central, and numerous national television programs.

Scott grew up in Massachusetts and graduated from American University in Washington, D.C.
