The Library’s Board of Trustees approved a revision to the Meeting Rooms Use Policy at its Feb. 17th meeting. The policy, renamed the Meeting & Study Room Policy, includes the following revisions:
- Brings the Small Study Room on the second floor under the umbrella of this policy
- Clarifies the distinction between room uses (meeting vs. quiet study)
- Adds language related to users leaving a room they have reserved unoccupied for an extended period of time
- Clarifies rules pertaining to beverage/snack consumption in meeting/study room
- Clarifies how patrons holding meetings in the Library might gain permission to consume refreshments beyond lidded drinks and packaged snacks
