To better help the community, the Saugus Public Library is holding its popular Food for Fine$ program through the end of February. Patrons who owe fine money can bring in boxed or canned food items as well as toiletries (toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, etc.). We will reduce your fine by $1.00 for each item you donate. No expired items, please. The donated items will be given to a local food pantry. It’s a win-win proposition!
