The New Friends of the Saugus Public Library are sad to announce that they will raise the prices in the Ongoing Book Sale on January 1st, 2026.

The new prices:

Adult Hard Cover      – $2.00 each

Adult Paperback        – $1.00

Children’s Hardcover – $1.00

Children’s Paperback – 50 cents

Fill a Bag of Books      – $10.00

In addition, the Book Sale will no longer offer DVDs, CDs, or Young Adult books.

The Ongoing Book Sale is available whenever the Library is open and there are no events taking place in the Community Room.

While the New Friends were hesitant to increase prices, this is still the best bargain in Town! And remember, the proceeds from the Book Sale help to fund our online calendar, museum pass software, museum discount passes, and a variety of programs at the Library.
