We are exhibiting pieces by Saugus artist Joanie Albee in the first floor Reading Room through April. Joanie’s work is largely Alaska-centered and includes paintings and some jewelry.
“I enjoy drawing and working in acrylics.
My sketches are often finished with a touch of water color to emphasize or add a splash.
I enjoy painting in serene solitude where words serve no purpose. Instrumental music while working in the backgrounds is soothing to the soul.
