Throughout the month of May, the First Floor Reading Room features works by local artist Joanie Allbee.
Much of Joanie’s work is inspired by her time in Alaska. She paints natural scenery in water colors and acrylics depicting water features, forests, animals, and the northern lights. Joanie also creates jewelry featuring found glass and hand-scrolled wire.
Stop by the Saugus Public Library this month to enjoy her work.
