It was a fun filled morning for this slithering smile filled program at the Saugus Iron Works. Rick Roth and the Cape Ann Vernal Pond Team came over from Gloucester to share facts and stories about snakes with the kids. Anyone who wanted to was welcome to pet or even hold one of the amazing and beautiful snakes Rick brought with him. Special thanks to two of the snakes Violet and Sparkles. The Saugus Public Library would also like to thank one of our local boy scout troops for kicking off the event with the Pledge of Allegiance.
