Today the kids had fun exploring the delicious world of pop artist Wayne Thiebaud.   Thiebaud is noted for his paintings of cakes, popsicles, and lollipops.  Thiebaud said he had a happy childhood and about the only thing he can paint are happy pictures.  Turns out, he’s also a voracious reader, and enjoys reading poetry to his students.
