2023 Kid’s Summer Reading Program

Registration starts June 20th!

We can’t wait for the this year’s theme: Summer Reading is Jawsome!  Kids read the books they love, log their reading and win prizes!  They’ll learn about sharks, and enjoy shark themed programs, crafts and activities.

Read to Win Prizes!

We’ll have gift cards, ice cream vouchers, books, Reading Brag Tags and our awesome prize cart.  Rockland Trust Bank also has a summer reading incentive program, READING MAKES CENT$  Eligible children can earn up to $25 by participating. (Grades 1-8)

Don’t lose those hard earned skills!

Strive to read at least 20 minutes every day – and make it fun!  It is critical for kids to keep reading during summer so they don’t fall behind.  To learn more about the importance of summer reading click here.

Be a Reading Role Model:  Read while your kids read or keep reading to them.  Talk about what you’ve read.  Help them find books they like – we can help with that!  Make it a fun part of a daily routine they look forward to!
