Thank you to the New Friends of Saugus Public Library, assisted by members of the community, for replacing the dead cherry tree on the side lawn at the library. In addition to the New Friends the library would like to thank:
- Laura Eisner for providing horticultural expertise.
- John Carpenito for having his landscapers prepare and plant our new tree.
- Marilyn Carlson for coordinating efforts with the D.P.W. and Dig-Safe.
- Last, but not least, thank you to the watering crew who diligently water and care for our beautiful new tree!
Pam Gill and Pauline Gautreau, Co-Chairs of New Friends of Saugus Public Library watered the tree on a sunny July day.
