July 20 is the 50th Anniversary of the First Moon Landing

On July 20, 1969 the United States’ Apollo 11 was the first crewed mission to land on the Moon. Commander Neil Armstrong became the first human to step onto the lunar surface. As he took his first step, Armstrong said, “That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.“
