Pace Genealogy Center

About the PACE Genealogy Center

The Pace Center for Genealogy Research is located in the Reference Room of the Saugus Public Library. Funded by the John R. Pace Trust, in memory of Joseph Wilson Pace, the Center has developed a collection of genealogy materials.

The Saugus Public Library Foundation has funded several items for the Library that make Local History and Genealogy researchers’ lives easier. Two database services, Ancestry.com and HeritageQuest, provide information for genealogists researching their family histories. Ancestry. com and HeritageQuest are available on all computers in the Library. HeritageQuest is also available from home with a Saugus Public Library Card. Click on the link from the E-Resources Page to access these exciting resources.

The Foundation also purchased the microfilm reader/printer and PC which allow scanning, printing and e-mailing material from our Local History, Genealogy, and microfilm collections. The equipment is located in the Pace Genealogy Center in the Reference Department. Thank you, Saugus Public Library Foundation for helping enhance the Library building, programs, services and collections.
