Pick up a copy of our calendar at the Children’s Desk or see our online events calendar. Ages are recommended, but feel free to try our programs to find a just right fit for your child.  In addition to regularly scheduled programs, we offer a variety of special programs every month.

Playgroups @the Library through the CFCE:  Nurture your child’s social skills and school readiness with these rotating playgroups sponsored by the Coordinated Family Community Engagement Grant.

FOR YOUNGER CHILDREN

Move and Groove Storytime  Enjoy stories, songs, & rhymes, ages 0-5

Music and Mother Goose  Ages 1-4  Join us for music & rhymes, dancing & clapping, shaking and marching!  We sing and have fun with shaker eggs, maracas, rhythm sticks, scarves, and a parachute.

Friendship Story time & Playgroup!  Ages 2-4  Stories and activities to strengthen social emotional growth.

Wednesday Story time with Miss Janice Ages 3+ After school story, craft and activities.

Let’s Get Ready for Kindergarten  Ages 3-5.  Led by a certified Kindergarten teacher, this program focuses on preschool development and skill -building activities.

FOR OLDER CHILDREN:

Keeping Us in Stitches!  Grade 2 and up.  Older children can learn to sew using a needle & thread (and maybe a sewing machine) with teachers Miss Joyce and Miss Margie. October – May

Book Squad Book Club:  Ages 9-12.  Meet monthly for snacks, crafts & book discussion.
