WHY:

This year’s summer reading theme is #READ20in2020!  Read what you want, read for fun – but do read for 20 minutes every day!  It is especially important for kids to keep reading this summer so they don’t fall behind. Parents, read with your kids, or read when they read!  To learn more about the importance of summer reading click here.

WHO:  Prizes for Kids and Parents!

The summer reading program is aimed at kids entering K to 6th grade. We will have drawings for e-gift cards from local businesses and Amazon.  We’ll also have a special drawing for adults whose children register and complete the program.

WHAT:  Download free books from the Library!

Our digital collections provide easy access to the books kids really love!  This summer enjoy an amazing selection of kid’s favorite books using the library’s free digital collections!  Download fresh titles all summer using hoopla, Overdrive and Libby.  The library is planning a phased reopening. Details will be forthcoming.
