Authors @ the SPL: Gloria and Merrill Mezikofsky, June 11th

Join us in welcoming Wakefield residents Gloria and Merrill Mezikofsky, who published the adventurous children’s book, A Perfectly Snowy Day, which details a childhood memory – in verse – with colorful illustrations that has captured the attention of young readers. Gloria wrote the book and Merrill, an accomplished artist, illustrated the book.

The New Friends of the Saugus Public Library will feature the Mezikofskys on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 6:00 PM as they engage their audience in a story telling moment with accompanying illustration.

Gloria will walk her audience through the book creation process detailing a self publishing journey that began with a previously-published cookbook, Dessert Gems.

This summer, the pair will release a second children’s book, Goggles For a Gloop. The reader is drawn into the story as adverse conditions arise and the Gloop learns a big lesson in forgiveness. Gloria’s husband, Merrill, completed over forty illustrations for this latest venture.

As a husband and wife team, Gloria and Merrill look forward to sharing their story with you in the SPL’s Community Room on Tuesday, June 11th.
